We departed for the Seven Feathers Casino at Canyonville, Oregon. We have been told that we should stay here at least once because it is so nice; this was a true statement. Easy pull through and great facilities.

Wayne rode his bike in the area around Canyonville. He also rode the Cows Creek Ride which was recommended by the bike shop in Grant's Pass. Starting in Canyonville, you ride to Riddle (about seven miles) and then you go south along Cows Creek and a defunct railroad track. Virtually not cars and a beautiful road. Entire ride is 72 miles if you continue, which I did not. Got just under 30 miles and it was awesome.

Coos Bay - We traveled to Coos Bay for sight-seeing. It was a nice day, but cool. We drove to the ocean and went out to Point Arago. Beautiful, but a bit chilly. Actually, it was damn cold. Go inland a mile and the temps were mild; go figure. We found a gentleman showing sunbathing seals with a spotting scope. He also mentioned the Simpson Family Gardens as a place to go. It was awesome with gorgeous flowers and lawns. Well worth the trip. We had a great time there.

Roseburg - We went to Roseberg to look around. There were quite a few homeless people there so we did not hang around long. Lisa got her hair cut there. There was a Farmer's Market on a street near the river; very pricey.
