Tuesday, September 6, 2022 - We depart the Blue Canyon RV Resort and begin the next leg of our journey to see Ryan and Sue Owens in Caldwell, Idaho (near Boise). The drive was pretty easy and the RV performed flawlessly. There was some smoke in the air, so visibilities were not the greatest. The drive to Boise took about six hours and the traffic was not too bad. After setting up the RV, Lisa and I took advantage of the site swimming pool and spa. That was fun and refreshing. Later in the evening, Ryon and Sue came buy and we drove to the Indian Creek Steakhouse in Caldwell for a great steak dinner. We got to ride Ryon and Sue's new GMC Denali truck. Such power and technology, it is an amazing truck. Ryon has started working at Bish's RV in Nampa and can use his truck to take trailers our for a "test run." He can then decide which one he and Sue would like to buy. Their truck is amazing though and will be great for pulling any trailer they select. After a dinner of great conversation and fellowship, Ryon and Sue dropped us off at our trailer.

Wednesday, September 7, 2022 - Ryon had to work, so Lisa and I did chores in the morning. We shopped for food and even new lounge chairs for our rig. We then went over to visit Ryon at his workplace. He showed us around the facilities and then showed us a new 38-foot long Allianze fifth wheel. It has five push-outs and is a beautiful machine. We think that Ryon and Sue are looking at one of these Allianze RVs in the future, and we can see why. After we left Ryon's workplace, we returned to the RV until Ryon and Sue picked us up for dinner. This time we drove to a fancy Mexican restaurant in the small town of Kuna. The food was great. Our waitress was a little slow and "ditzy," but we had a great meal and excellent conversation. There was a lot of smoke in the air as we drove back to Caldwell and our RV.

Thursday, September 8, 2022 - We arose and prepped for our departure for Elko, Nevada and the Double Dice RV Resort. We decided to drive to Mountain Home, Idaho and then take Highway 51 south to Elko. Highway 51 is narrower road, but shorter and more scenic than going through Twin Falls.
