Sunday, June 6, 2021 - We drove for four hours from Kerrville to Abilene. The drive was uneventful with great weather and a tailwind all the way. We decided to take a more circular route to the Dallas area by going north to the Abilene and then east to Dallas. We will spend two days in Abilene. The RV park is virtually new and easy to get into. We have a couple museums to explore and some of the best BBQ in the state.

We stayed around the RV this Saturday. We also found that the BBQ restaurant that is rated #1 in the state is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so that was out.

Monday, June 6, 2021 - We had met Pam from the trailer next to us. She was in Abilene with her son who was competing in the Texas High School Rodeo Championships. This was being held in an area about three miles from where we were staying. We decided to go to the competition on Monday afternoon. In the morning, we wen tot he Frontier Texas Museum.
