We arrived at the Bear Mountain RV Park at around 6:00 in the evening Sunday, May 2nd. The drive was without issue, although the quality of Interstate 5 has not improved over the last two to three years. Really rough and bumpy in several areas. Hard on the equipment.

Bear Mountain is an "FHU" location with Full Hook-Ups. We only used water and power hookups and decided that we had enough water in our tanks to get us to Phoenix. We also decided not to empty our "black tanks" until we arrive in Phoenix. The over-night stay was quiet and uneventful; very peaceful.

The next morning we were on the road by 9:00 on our way to the town of Arvin and then on to Highway 58 and Needles, California. A beautiful day to travel.
