Monday, June 8, 2020 - We drove due north from Omaha to Summit, South Dakota. It was a nice drive with a tailwind of about 25 knots all the way. Good gas mileage. We are staying at the County Line RV Park. Our site is long and easy to get into. The people are nice, so all is well. Tonight thunderstorms (potentially violent) are expected and rain is expected for tomorrow. It might be a good day to work on the blog.

NOTE: Many people staying at this park are full-timers employed in the wind turbine industry as they are installing many wind turbines in this area.

We went for a drive to the west of Summit by about ten miles. There are several large lakes in that area and there were many fishing boats on the road. It was a pleasant drive among the lakes.

Tuesday, June 9, 2020 - We had pretty heavy rain last night and the skies were overcast when we awoke this morning. We decided to stay in and do chores today. Lots to do with the Veterans Administration, car insurance, and working with my role as a Trustee for a relatives estate. We did manage to go for a walk of over four miles. Winds were high, but it kind of made the walk more fun. Tomorrow we depart for Minnesota. The weather is supposed to improve.
