Saturday, March 11, 2023 - We drive for six hours from the Sherwood Forest RV Resort near Orlando, Florida to Carroll's Meat and Sausage and RV Parking near Ashburn, Georgia. Excellent weather with no wind at all. Super easy access to the parking area.

Carroll's charges $40 per night for full hookup service and then they give you a $10 gift certificated to their meat and sausage store. They have all sorts of jams, jellies, meats, and sundry items for sale. We bought some very thick bacon that looked really good. We were the third RV at the site and then it began to fill up towards dark. We were very closed to Highway 75, so the road noise was pretty heavy all night. We should have turned on a fan, but were too lazy to get up and do it. There were also trains traveling through the town during the night that crossed several streets where they let go with their horns. It was fairly loud and continued for four or five streets as the trains traversed the town.

We got up early and got breakfast sandwiches at a local McDonald's since it was close by and we wanted to get on the road early. We had a long day ahead as we were driving to the Tiffin factory in Red Bay, Alabama.

Sunday, March 12, 2023 - We depart at 8:30 for Red Bay, Alabama and the Tiffin factory.
