Photo Excursion for Bald Eagles at Anchor Bay, Alaska

Homer/Baycrest KOA, Homer, Alaska  •

Wayne and Lisa and Bob and Charlotte Capp drive 30 miles north of Homer, Alaska to photograph the Bald Eagles at Anchor Bay. This is a location where the local native Americans use large tractors to launch and recover boats in the surf. The fishermen clean their fish while motoring to the shore and throw the remains into the water. These remains wash up on the beach and attract the eagles. Lots of good photos of stationary and flying eagles.
