Wednesday, August 31, 2022 - We drove for just over 1.5 hours to arrive at the Chelan County Fair Grounds in Cashmere, WA. After arrival and setup, we went into Wanachee to have a tire fixed and possibly buy a new tire for the truck. We went to Discount Tire. They fixed our trailer tire and sold us another tire for the truck at half price. It was not the same brand, but it was new. It seems that some local contractors buy trucks with road tires and then trade them in for off-road tires. We then took a drive through Wanachee to see what the area is like. We noticed that the local paved bike path was readily accessible at numerous very nice parks along its route. We decided to take a bike ride on the next day. We drove back to the RV with a stop at a fruit stand where we bought some apricots and corn.

Thursday, September 1, 2022 - We drive into Wanachee and take a bike ride on the Apple Capital Loop bike trail. It is a loop that goes on both sides of the Columbia River along the length of the town of Wenachee and then extends for about six miles north and south on each end of the loop. It is a totally paved trail and in good condition. We ended up with a 24 mile bike ride. The day was fairly warm and there was smoke in the air from local fires. After the ride, we returned to the RV where I worked on changing a couple of tires out. We also prepped for the next day's departure.

Friday, September, 2, 2022 - We departed the Chelan County Fair Grounds for Walla Walla and the Blue Canyon RV Resort. This was our opportunity to visit with Bill and Gina DeWeber and their mom, Ann.
