Sunday, September 13, 2020 - We drove for just over five hours to arrive at Friendship Village RV Park in Bedford, Pennsylvania. We had to travel through Ohio, part of West Virginia, and then into Pennsylvania. A fair portion of this drive was in the rain. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nicer day. When we left our RV Park in Berlin, Ohio, our GPS told us to turn right and like good little Lemmings, we followed it religiously. Turns out, it was wrong and we had to travel through some rather narrow country roads to get back to where were supposed to be. Luckily, we did not get "hung up" and have to back out of anywhere. It was a pretty drive though. We will be here in Bedford for two days and then move on to Lancaster County (Amish Country) Pennsylvania. We have moved out of the more flat parts of Ohio into the rolling hills of the Appalachians in Pennsylvania. We are seeing some fairly significant hills in this area; a challenge for biking.

We are just 20 miles from the site where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed while fighting terrorists on September 11, 2001. We will be visiting the site tomorrow and will report on what we find. President Trump went to this site on September 11th to lay a wreath in tribute to the heroes who gave their lives to protect the Capitol of the United States.
