Monday, September 5, 2020 - Lisa and I drive from Traveler's Woods of New England RV Park in Bernardston, Massachusetts to Friendship Village RV Park in Bedford, Pennsylvania. The drive was relaxing and very pretty with lots of rolling mountains in the Appalachian Mountains. Weather was good and no major issues were encountered.

Tuesday, September 6, 2020 - We are on our way back to California via Highway 40 across the center of the states. We have a month to make the trip, so we are driving just about every day to get to a new location. We did spend two days here at Friendship Village after three days of travel. We thought that we would take a rest here, so what did we do? Fill the truck tanks, get the oil and windshield wipers changed, add two containers of DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), and then take the entire rest of the day to clean the RV by hand. For six hours, I washed and wiped the nose cap and the rest of the RV to clean off a large amount of dirt that had accumulated due to rains we had driven through. Thank goodness, Lisa came out to help me after a while. It is clear that I have not been using these muscles enough. I ended up pretty sore, but feeling good that the RV was looking so good. The truck and the RV always seems to work better when it is clean.

Tomorrow we are off again to Flatwoods KOA in Sutton, West Virginia. We will be driving through a large piece of Maryland and then into West Virginia. We will also drive past the Civil War battle site of Antietam.
